NEW YORK – Left-hander Tanner Scott has arrived at Yankee Stadium, though he’s expected to be on the taxi squad today before the Orioles select his contract from Double-A Bowie on Sunday.
J.J .Hardy is in today’s lineup, his first appearance since coming off the disabled list Sept. 8. He hasn’t started since June 18.
Tim Beckham is the designated hitter against left-hander Jordan Montgomery and Austin Hays is in right field. Mark Trumbo and Chris Davis are on the bench.

The Orioles must finish 9-5 to post their sixth consecutive non-losing season. They’re 8-20 at Yankee Stadium since 2015.
The Orioles have allowed 141 runs in 17 games against the Yankees, the highest total by any team this season. It’s their second-highest total in club history behind the 148 in 22 games versus the Yankees in 1955.
Aaron Judge has scored 29 runs this season against the Orioles, making him the first player to reach that total against an opponent since Mickey Mantle scored 30 versus the Kansas City Athletics in 1956.
