The Orioles today announced plans for their 60th Anniversary Luncheon, to be held Friday, August 8 at noon in the Warehouse at Oriole Park. The event is presented by the Oriole Advocates and will honor members of the Orioles Hall of Fame.
More than 20 Orioles Hall of Famers are expected to attend the luncheon, including Brooks Robinson, Frank Robinson, Eddie Murray, Rick Dempsey, Jim Gentile, Milt Pappas, Don Buford, Ken Singleton, Mike Boddicker, Doug DeCinces and others. More than 20 Orioles Hall of Famers are expected to attend the luncheon, including Brooks Robinson, Frank Robinson, Eddie Murray, Rick Dempsey, Jim Gentile, Milt Pappas, Don Buford, Ken Singleton, Mike Boddicker, Doug DeCinces and others. The luncheon will include a question and answer session with the players and coaches, a silent auction, raffles and door prizes.
Tickets for the luncheon are $75 and can be purchased by contacting ANN SERIO of the Oriole Advocates at (410) 247-2703. That night, the Orioles will host the St. Louis Cardinals at 7:05 p.m. Following the game, a fireworks and laser show will be presented featuring highlights of the Orioles’ 60-year history and the introduction of the Orioles Hall of Fame members.
