The 19-year-old Bundy went 9-3 with a 2.08 ERA in 23 starts split between low Single-A Delmarva, high Single-A Frederick and Double-A Bowie this season. He last pitched on Sept. 5 for the Baysox in a playoff game vs. Akron, allowing six hits and one run over six innings.
The Orioles were planning on Bundy pitching around 125 innings this season and he is at 109 2/3, counting six in that playoff game.
While he did give up a batting average against of .339 vs. left-handed hitters with Frederick, that number was down to .269 with Bowie.
Bundy posted some outstanding stats for the Shorebirds, Keys and Baysox vs. right-handed batters. They hit a combined .165 against him with 81 strikeouts and three homers allowed over 236 at-bats. Double-A right-handed batters hit .200 (7-for-35) against him in the Eastern League.

Bundy was in the Orioles’ instructional league at Sarasota, Fla., had thrown two bullpen sessions there and was scheduled to soon pitch in a game when he got the early morning call today to head to Seattle.
Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports was the first to report the news on Bundy.
