Until then, we carry on through the last full week without live games with more “Orioles Classics,” starting tonight with the No. 7 game in our countdown of the most memorable games in Oriole Park history at 7 p.m. This week’s hint: The Big Unit struggled with the Orioles’ second unit.
Here are the other two classic Orioles games from 2014 scheduled to re-air this week:
Tuesday, Feb. 21, 7 p.m. – 2014 was a memorable season for the Orioles, as the won the American League East title. A memorable part early in the season came on June 23, when Chris Davis came off the bench to crush a pinch-hit three-run walk-off home run against the White Sox for a 6-4 win.
Wednesday, Feb. 22, 11 a.m. – Later in the season and closer to the division title, Nelson Cruz continued his big season by leading the comeback charge against the Rays. Cruz homered twice and recorded seven RBIs, as the Birds rallied to beat the Rays 7-5 at The Trop on Sept. 7.
