We’ll kick things off with an impressive, late-night gem some of you might have missed:

The Orioles trailed the Angels the entire night and were on the brink of another Friday night loss at Camden Yards. Then, with their final batter of the night, Manny Machado walked off with a grand slam to give the O’s a 9-7 win. It was the O’s eighth walk-off win of the year and the first walk-off grand slam since Matt Wieters accomplished the feat on April 18, 2013 against the Rays.

Not only that, Machado also recorded his second-career three-homer game – his 24th (a two-run homer in the third inning), 25th (a solo shot in the fifth inning) and 26th home runs of the season – which helped him earn American League Player of the Month honors for August.

Also, according to ESPN Stats & Info, Machado joined Joey Votto and Khris Davis as the only players in major league history to finish off a three-home run outing with a walk-off grand slam.

Thursday, Nov. 2, 9 a.m. – The O’s used a 26-hit attack, 10 of them in the fifth inning, to crush the A’s 18-2 on Aug. 16, 2015 for their third straight victory. The 26 hits tied a franchise mark set on Aug. 28, 1980 against the Angels.

Friday, Nov. 3, 12:30 p.m. – Henry Urrutia’s first major league home run, a solo shot, led the O’s to win 5-4 over the Mets on Aug. 19, 2015. Urrutia was the first O’s player since 1990 to have his first home run be a walk-off.

Monday, Nov. 6, midnight – Down 2-1 in the eighth inning, Jonathan Schoop homered and Adam Jones blasted a three-run shot to pull off a 5-3 comeback victory against the Yankees on Aug. 13, 2014, completing a two-game sweep.

Monday, Nov. 6, 9 a.m. – The 1970 World Series was the last time we saw 100-win teams compete against each other in the Fall Classic, with the Orioles winning in five games against the Reds. In Game 1, a Jim Palmer versus Gary Nolan matchup, the Reds took a quick 3-0 lead, but the O’s bounced back with home runs from Boog Powell and Elrod Hendricks to tie it up 3-3 after five innings. “Mr. Oriole” Brooks Robinson’s homer put the O’s ahead 4-3 and gave Palmer the complete-game win at Riverfront Stadium in Cincinnati.

Tuesday, Nov. 7, 9 a.m. – Much like Game 1, the Reds were off to a quick start, leading 4-0 through the third inning in Game 2. But the floodgates opened for the O’s once Powell connected again for a solo shot in the fourth inning. The O’s ultimately won 6-5 to lead the series 2-0.

Wednesday, Nov. 3, 9 a.m. – The 1970 World Series moved to Memorial Stadium in Baltimore for Game 3. With sensational fielding plays from Robinson preventing the Reds from scoring, a complete-game gem AND a grand slam from Dave McNally (the first by a pitcher in a World Series), the O’s 9-3 victory over the Reds helped them take a 3-0 lead in the series.
