The Orioles recalled Jimmy Yacabonis this morning as the 26th man for their doubleheader and he’s starting Game 1.
Yacabonis faced the Red Sox twice last year in relief and allowed one run and two hits in 1 2/3 innings.
Cedric Mullins remains in center field and is batting eighth ahead of catcher Austin Wynns. Adam Jones continues to play right field.
Mark Trumbo has a 12-game hitting streak that ties his career high. He’s 19-for-47 (.404) with five home runs, 14 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
