Pearce had two hits and an RBI last night against his former team.

Before tonight, Reynolds was batting .309/.442/.574 with six doubles, four home runs, 13 RBIs, 14 runs scored and 15 walks in his last 21 games played.

The four runs are the most scored by the Orioles in the first inning this season. They tallied three on May 10.

Meanwhile, Tommy Hunter has retired the first six batters he’s faced with three strikeouts.

Down on the farm, Dylan Bundy gave up a run and two hits in the first inning for Single-A Frederick. He retired Lynchburg in order in the second, but allowed a run in the third and still hadn’t recorded an out. He’s surrendered three runs and four hits, walked two, struck out two and thrown two wild pitches in two-plus innings.

Update: Bundy had his roughest outing as a professional, allowing four runs and five hits in 3 2/3 innings. He walked two, struck out five, gave up a home run and threw two wild pitches. He threw 84 pitches, 47 for strikes.

Brandon Erbe replaced Bundy with two outs in the fourth after Lynchburg’s Braeden Schlehuber homered. Bundy’s ERA rose to 4.34.

The Orioles scored another run off Bedard in the third inning on Wieters’ double, but they couldn’t knock him out of the game after putting runners on second and third with no outs, and loading the bases with two outs.

Davis led off with a double – the guy is on fire – and Bedard hit Adam Jones on the left thigh. Wieters followed with his double, giving him two hits and two RBIs tonight.

Hunter has retired the first 12 batters.

Update II: Pearce has a career-high five RBIs tonight, including a three-run homer off reliever Doug Slaten in the fourth that gave the Orioles a 10-0 lead.

It was Pearce’s first home run since May 25, 2011 against Atlanta.

Wieters is 3-for-3 with four RBIs, one short of his season high. Davis has two hits and a walk. Reynolds has doubled twice and driven in a run.

Bedard was charged with seven runs and eight hits in 3 1/3 innings. He threw 84 pitches, 54 for strikes.

Hunter gave up consecutive singles to Garrett Jones and Casey McGehee leading off the fifth, and Rod Barajas belted a three-run homer with two outs.

Orioles 10, Pirates 3.

Hunter has surrendered 17 homers in 70 innings.
