The Orioles have now won six of their last seven series in Boston dating to the end of the 2011 season and are 15-6 there since then.

The O’s swept three from Boston last season in May, a series that concluded with the famous 17-inning game that ended with Chris Davis on the mound. That was their first three-game sweep at Boston since June 10-12, 1994 and they can get another with a win tonight.

* Chris Tillman is 3-0 with a 1.42 ERA in four starts this year vs. Boston. He has given up a batting average of just .183 in those games. He is 1-0 with a 1.93 ERA in four career Fenway Park starts.

* I guess I keep pointing this stat out, but it is still applicable. The Orioles have gone 15 straight games scoring five or fewer runs, easily their longest stretch of the season. Will there be a breakout on offense tonight?

* While the Orioles are just 17-28 in one-run games, their records in two-run (20-9) and three-run games (19-10) are the best in the AL.
