The Orioles have compiled some strong stats during an impressive 14-8 start. Here are a few of them:
* The Orioles lead the American League with five wins this year when trailing after seven innings. In fact, the only other AL team that has more than two of those wins is Tampa Bay with three.

* Nolan Reimold has a 14-game hitting streak since going 0-for-4 on opening day. He is batting .356…The Orioles have compiled some strong stats during an impressive 14-8 start. Here are a few of them:

* Nolan Reimold has a 14-game hitting streak since going 0-for-4 on opening day. He is batting .356 (21-for-59) during the streak which is one short of the best in the league this year. Both Derek Jeter and Josh Willingham had 15-game streaks earlier.
* Orioles starting pitchers have produced 11 quality starts this year and the team is 11-0 in those games.
* Orioles starting pitchers have six quality starts and an ERA of 1.80 over their last seven games, giving up just nine earned runs over 45 innings.
* The Orioles bullpen, which leads the AL with an ERA of 1.88 on the year, has an ever better ERA of 0.71 over the last 13 games. In that time, the bullpen pitchers have given up just three earned runs over 38 innings with ten scoreless outings during the stretch.
* Since last Sept. 12, the Orioles are 9-2-1 in their last 12 series and are 25-14 over the past 39 games.
* The Orioles are 8-2 in games decided by two runs or less with a record of 3-1 in one-run games and 5-1 in games decided by two runs.
* Chris Davis is 7-for-15 (.467) during a five-game batting streak with three homers, six runs and seven RBIs during that time. Adam Jones is 12-for-31 (.387) during an eight-game batting streak with a double, triple, homer and four RBIs.
* The Orioles are tied for the second-best win percentage in the AL when their opponent scores first. Detroit, at 6-1, has a win percentage of .857 in those games, with the Orioles and Seattle at .800, going 8-2.
