I wrote earlier today about Luke Scott going on the disabled list, but I forgot to mention that he’ll undergo an MRA Friday in Baltimore. That’s what happens when you trust your memory instead of your notes.
Anyway, an MRA is like an MRI, except dye is injected into the shoulder.
Scott still thinks he can avoid surgery, at least until after the season. The results of the MRA could alter those plans. We’ll find out.
Bonus update: I originally was told that the procedure would take place Monday, but reports out of Texas say it’s Friday. I assume that Scott knows the correct day, so I’m going with Friday.
