Dylan Beavers is batting third and playing left field this afternoon, as the Orioles go for their first four-game winning streak of the season heading into the break.
Taylor Ward is the designated hitter. Samuel Basallo is catching.

Shane Baz makes his 19th start. He’s 4-9 with a 4.21 ERA and 1.374 WHIP in his first half-season with the Orioles.
Baz has registered three quality starts out of his last four outings. His ERA is at its lowest since April 28.
The Royals faced Baz on April 21. He allowed four runs and eight hits in 6 1/3 innings.
Baz has a career 4.95 ERA in three starts against Kansas City.
Over Baz’s 71 major league starts, right-handers are hitting .239 with a .713 OPS against him and left-handers are hitting .239 with a .717 OPS.
The Royals will try to avoid the sweep today with right-hander Seth Lugo on the mound. Lugo has made 18 starts and registered a 4.56 ERA in 100 2/3 innings.
Lugo had a 3.69 ERA on June 19, but he allowed seven runs in five innings at Tropicana Field and six earned runs (nine total) in 4 1/3 at Citi Field in his last outing.
Lugo faced the Orioles on April 20 and allowed one hit in seven scoreless innings. He owns a 2.01 ERA in five career appearances against them.
Gunnar Henderson is 1-for-10 with a double against him.
