Reliever Darren O’Day said his hamstring feels better, but he doesn’t know when he’ll be cleared to throw off a mound. He’s headed to the Ed Smith Stadium complex in Sarasota.

According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Trumbo is the second non-rookie in history to hit more than 25 home runs before the All-Star break in his first season with a new team. He joins Nelson Cruz, who did so for the Orioles in 2014. However, White Sox third baseman Todd Frazier currently has 25 home runs entering today.

The Orioles have scored 146 runs this season in the seventh inning or later to lead the American League and rank third in the majors. The Orioles also lead the AL and rank third in the majors with 42 home runs in the seventh inning or later.

Only the Cardinals and Nationals, with 43 apiece, have more homers in such situations.
