The Orioles will go for a split of their four-game series against the Blue Jays today with no roster move announced. They apparently intend to keep a two-man bench and 14 pitchers.
Jonathan Villar is the shortstop today and leadoff hitter. Jace Peterson is playing third base. Stevie Wilkerson is in center field.

Manager Brandon Hyde decided to use Jimmy Yacabonis as the opener again and Tom Eshelman in relief, the same arrangement that worked fairly well in the 16-inning marathon in Anaheim. Yacabonis allowed one run over two innings and Eshelman held the Angels to one run over 4 1/3.
Yacabonis tossed 1 1/3 scoreless relief innings on July 29 in San Diego, though he allowed two hits and walked a batter, and he surrendered four runs and walked two batters in one inning Thursday night against the Jays.
Yacabonis struck out the side in the eighth inning on July 6 in Toronto. He gave up one run in 2 1/3 innings on April 3 at Rogers Centre.
Randal Grichuk and Danny Jansen have homered off Yacabonis in their only at-bats against him.
Right-hander Sean Reid-Foley is making his sixth appearance and fourth start today. He’s registered a 2.55 ERA, but also has a 1.415 WHIP in 17 2/3 innings. He’s averaging 5.1 walks per nine innings.
Reid-Foley made his 2019 debut in an April 1 start against the Orioles and surrendered three earned runs (five total) and four hits in two innings. He also walked two batters.
Villar hit a two-run homer in the first inning.
If the Orioles allow two or more home runs today, they’ll run their streak to nine games in a row and tie the major league record currently held by three teams. The 2016 Astros are the most recent.
