MIAMI – The Orioles have reinstated infielder Everth Cabrera from the 15-day disabled list and optioned infielder Rey Navarro to Triple-A Norfolk.

Bud Norris is starting Game 1 of today’s doubleheader at Triple-A Norfolk. First pitch is slated for 5:05 p.m.
According to Elias, Steve Pearce is only the third Orioles in the last 10 seasons to hit a grand slam in the first inning, joining Melvin Mora (2006) and Ryan Flaherty (2012).
Manager Buck Showalter is (1,277) is four wins away from tying Whitey Herzog (1,281) for 35th on the all-time list. Frank Selee (1,284) is 34th.
Mike Weaver, son of Hall of Fame manager Earl Weaver, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch Saturday. He will be accompanied by Earl’s widow, Marianna.
Former Orioles pitcher Brad Bergesen has signed with the independent York Revolution.
