He became the sixth player last night to reach the second deck, joining the Angels’ Rex Hudler in 1995, the Orioles’ Mark Reynolds in 2011, the Orioles’ Manny Machado in 2017, the Indians’ Edwin Encarnación in 2017 and the Mets’ Pete Alonso in 2020.
Taijuan Walker faced the Orioles on May 12 and held them to one run and four hits in seven innings. But they’ve tallied 28 runs and 37 hits in their last two games.
The Orioles have registered double-digit hits in three-straight games for the first time since Sept. 22-24, 2020 and double-digit runs in back-to-back games for the first time since June 28-29, 2019.
