Reliever T.J. McFarland will have his left elbow X-rayed this morning after experiencing discomfort in yesterday’s game against the Red Sox.
McFarland said he felt it on one particular pitch late in his outing. The discomfort surfaces on his extension, leading him to believe it’s more muscle related than a ligament and therefore not serious.
