Alberto is 10-for-22 (.455) in seven games against the Yankees this season and his 1.140 OPS ranks second among qualifying Orioles.

Gleyber Torres is 3-for-7 with three home runs lifetime against Hess, but he hurts everyone. Gary Sánchez is 3-for-7 with two home runs and Kendrys Morales is 4-for-8 with a homer.

The 14 home runs surrendered by Hess this season are tied for the major league lead.

Trey Mancini has nine RBIs in his last 11 games. He’s 16-for-38 (.421) with 10 runs scored in the first inning.

Right-hander Domingo Germán leads the majors with eight wins, the most recent coming against the Orioles in Game 2 of Wednesday’s doubleheader when he held them to one run with eight strikeouts in seven innings. He faced the Orioles on April 7 in Baltimore and allowed two runs in six innings.

Germán is more than just wins. He’s carrying a 2.50 ERA and 0.95 WHIP with a .179 average-against.
