Miguel Cabrera went 7 for 14 with four extra-base hits in that series and Brandon Inge was 7 for 12 with 6 RBI.

The Tigers, who have won six of the last eight overall, are 9-1 over their past ten home games. They have a batting average of .328 and ERA of 1.91 in those ten contests.

Detroit, which is 23-32 since the All-Star Game, won the last three games of a four-game series with Chicago, winning 6-3 Thursday as Johnny Damon had four hits.
