Arrieta gave up five hits and four runs (two earned) over five innings, throwing 106 pitches. He falls to 10-8 with a 5.05 ERA.

In his Orioles’ debut, Chris Davis played first base, batted fifth in the order and went 0-for-4.

The Orioles fall to 42-63. They are 2-5 on this road trip which continues Tuesday at Kansas City. The Orioles have lost 18 of their last 24 games.

* They are 0-8-1 in their last nine series since taking two of three from the Reds June 24-26. They have now lost 11 consecutive road series.

* The Orioles are 1-9 on the year against the Yankees and have been outscored 82 to 30 in those games.
