The Orioles today announced that they have reinstated infielder Ryan Flaherty from the 15-day disabled list, recalled left-hander T.J. McFarland from Triple-A Norfolk, placed right-hander Kevin Gausman on the 15-day disabled list with right shoulder tendinitis (retroactive to May 7), and optioned infielder Rey Navarro to Triple-A Norfolk.

Flaherty, 28, appeared in three rehab games with Double-A Bowie, batting .333/.385/.667 (4-12) with a double, home run, two RBI, and two runs scored. He was placed on the disabled list on April 24 (retroactive to April 23) with a right groin strain. In nine games with the Orioles this season, Flaherty has hit .300/.400/.600 (9-30) with three doubles, two home runs, four RBI, and four runs scored.
McFarland, 25, went 1-2 with a 4.24 ERA (23.1IP, 11ER) in five games with Triple-A Norfolk this season. He will wear No. 66.
Gausman, 24, went 1-0 with a 4.50 ERA (12.0IP, 6ER) in eight games with the Orioles this season.
Navarro, 25, hit .316/.316/.421 (6-19) with two doubles, two RBI, and three runs scored over seven games with the Orioles this season after making his Major League debut on April 24 vs. Boston.
