Jones is one of three major leaguers with four or more nine-game hitting streaks this year, joining Jacoby Ellsbury (four) and Miguel Cabrera (five).
With his next home run, Jones will join Hall of Famer Frank Robinson as the only Orioles outfielders with three or more seasons of 25-plus homers. Robinson did it in 1966, 1967, 1969, 1970 and 1971.
Among all Orioles, Jones would be the seventh player to homer 25 or more times in three or more seasons, joining Lee May (three seasons), Rafael Palmeiro (four), Boog Powell (five), Robinson (five), Cal Ripken Jr. (eight) and Eddie Murray (10).
Chris Davis leads the majors with 41 extra-base hits on the road this year, tied for seventh in club history. Ripken holds the franchise record with 49 in 1991.
The last Oriole with 41 or more in a season was Palmeiro (44) in 1998.
Of the top five American League players in extra-base hits this season, three are Orioles: Davis (75), Manny Machado (55) and Jones (54). Mike Trout (60) and Miguel Cabrera (59) are the others.
Nick Markakis (.344) has the highest batting average in the history of interleague play (minimum 400 at-bats), ranking ahead of Mike Piazza (.340) and Dustin Pedroia (.334). Davis and J.J. Hardy each have six interleague homers this season, one behind leader Alfonso Soriano.
