Orioles option RHP Logan Ondrusek to Double-A Bowie

The Orioles today announced that they have optioned RHP Logan Ondrusek to Double-A Bowie. Ondrusek, 31, pitched to a 6.75 ERA (4 ER/5.1 IP) over six games with the Orioles this season. In 287 career Major League games, he went 21-11 with a 3.95 ERA (121 ER/276.0 IP) and 216 strikeouts. Ondrusek was signed to a Major League contract on July 29 after pitching for the Yakult Swallows of the Japan Central League over parts of the last two seasons.
