The Orioles today announced that the club has promoted Lisa Tolson, PHR, SHRM-CP to Vice President of Human Resources. This season marks her 33rd year with the Orioles.
A Baltimore native, Tolson began her career with the Orioles in 1985 in the Ticket Office as a Group Sales Liaison and was named Director of Human Resources in 2000. The Orioles today announced that the club has promoted Lisa Tolson, PHR, SHRM-CP to Vice President of Human Resources. This season marks her 33rd year with the Orioles.
A Baltimore native, Tolson began her career with the Orioles in 1985 in the Ticket Office as a Group Sales Liaison and was named Director of Human Resources in 2000. She oversees all aspects of the team’s human resources functions. She received her PHR certification through the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) in 2001.
Tolson resides in Perry Hall, Md. and serves on the Board of Directors for the Brandon Tolson Foundation, an organization that provides relief, assistance, and support to families who have suffered the loss of a child.
