The Orioles today announced that they have recalled right-hander Miguel Gonzalez from Double-A Bowie and have designated infielder Cord Phelps for assignment.
Gonzalez, 30, is 6-6 with a 3.80 ERA (113.2IP, 48ER) in 20 games (19 starts) for the Orioles in 2014. In 68 career games (62 starts) for the Orioles, Gonzalez is 26-18 with a 3.64 (390.1IP, 158ER).
