The Orioles today announced that they have recalled left-hander T.J. McFarland from Triple-A Norfolk as the 26th player for Game 2 of today’s doubleheader.
McFarland, 26, has gone 0-1 with a 3.18 ERA (11 1/3 IP, 4 ER) in 11 games with the Orioles this season, holding left-handed batters to a .143 batting average (4-28). In nine games (seven starts) with Triple-A Norfolk this season, he went 2-2 with a 3.41 ERA (34 1/3 IP, 13 ER) and one save.
