The Orioles today announced that they have reinstated infielder J.J. Hardy from the 15-day disabled list and have placed infielder Everth Cabrera on the 15-day disabled list with a left foot contusion.
Hardy, 32, appeared in three rehab games with Double-A Bowie, batting .333/.333/.417 (4-12) with a double, RBI, and two runs scored. He was placed on the disabled list on April 5 (retroactive to March 27) with a left shoulder strain. In 2014, Hardy earned his third consecutive Gold Glove Award…

Hardy, 32, appeared in three rehab games with Double-A Bowie, batting .333/.333/.417 (4-12) with a double, RBI, and two runs scored. He was placed on the disabled list on April 5 (retroactive to March 27) with a left shoulder strain. In 2014, Hardy earned his third consecutive Gold Glove Award after leading American League shortstops in Total Zone Runs (14), ranking second in double plays turned (99), third in fielding percentage (.978) and assists (394), and fifth in putouts (187).
Cabrera, 28, batted .205/.227/.229 (17-83) with two doubles, four RBI, and six runs scored in 23 games with the Orioles this season.
