The Orioles today announced that they have reinstated RHP BUD NORRIS from the 15-day disabled list and optioned INF REY NAVARRO to Triple-A Norfolk.
Norris, 30, was placed on the 15-day disabled list on May 18 (retroactive to May 11) with bronchitis. He made three rehab starts between Double-A Bowie and Triple-A Norfolk, going 0-2 with a 10.03 ERA (11.2IP, 13ER), including 4.0 hitless innings in his last start with the Tides on June 3. Navarro, 25, batted .276/.276/.448 (8-29) with two doubles, a home run, five runs scored, and three RBI over 10 games with the Orioles this season.
