Orioles Reinstate RHP Koji Uehara From 15-Day Disabled List; INF Garrett Atkins Designated For Assignment

The Orioles today announced that RHP Koji Uehara has been reinstated from the 15-day disabled list. To make room for Uehara on the roster, INF Garrett Atkins has been designated for assignment.
Uehara was placed on the disabled list on May 20 with a right forearm strain. He has a 1.80 ERA (5.0IP, 1ER) in six games for the Orioles this season.
Atkins batted .214 (30-140) with one home run and nine RBI in 44 games for Baltimore. The Orioles today announced that RHP Koji Uehara has been reinstated from the 15-day disabled list. To make room for Uehara on the roster, INF Garrett Atkins has been designated for assignment.
