The Orioles today announced that they have selected the contract of outfielder Nolan Reimold from Triple-A Norfolk.
Reimold, 31, batted .227/.306/.340 (22-97) with three doubles, a triple, two home runs, and eight RBI in 39 games with the Orioles this season. In 54 games with the Tides this season, Reimold hit .274/.363/.371 (54-197) with 13 doubles, two home runs, and 15 RBI.
