Orioles to host four Vote Orange rallies in the upcoming week

With just over two weeks of voting left, the Orioles are continuing their push to be well-represented at Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game in New York this July by hosting four Vote Orange rallies over the next week. The Vote Orange Street team will visit restaurants and taverns in Federal Hill this Friday, June 21, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and will then canvass Canton Square restaurants and taverns on Sunday, June 23 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Orioles outfielder Nate McLouth will appear at Modell’s…With just over two weeks of voting left, the Orioles are continuing their push to be well-represented at Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game in New York this July by hosting four Vote Orange rallies over the next week. The Vote Orange Street team will visit restaurants and taverns in Federal Hill this Friday, June 21, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and will then canvass Canton Square restaurants and taverns on Sunday, June 23 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Orioles outfielder Nate McLouth will appear at Modell’s on East Joppa Road from 11:00 a.m. – noon on Tuesday, June 25 as part of a Vote Orange rally at the sporting goods store. That evening the Vote Orange Street team and Downtown Partnership will host a rally at the Orioles Fan Zone, located in Harborplace at the intersection of Pratt and Light Streets.
In the most recent voting totals released this past Saturday, the Orioles had four players – Chris Davis, J.J. Hardy, Adam Jones and Nick Markakis – as the top American League vote-getters at their respective positions. Manny Machado and Matt Wieters were second in vote totals, while McLouth ranked seventh.
The Vote Orange Street Team will be accompanied by The Oriole Bird and will give away game tickets, Vote Orange gear, and other promotional items to reward fans who #VoteOrange. The list of rally dates and locations is below, but the schedule for rallies may be updated with new locations and additional player appearances. Fans are encouraged to visit www.orioles.com/voteorange regularly for a complete schedule of events and to #VoteOrange online through July 4. In-park voting at Oriole Park ends June 25.
