Center fielder Adam Jones led the American League in batting average (.400) last month, and finished second in slugging percentage (.707) and third in on-base percentage (.440) and total bases (53).

Shortstop J.J. Hardy worked out again today, taking ground balls and making throws to Pearce at second. He could begin an injury rehab assignment Monday at Double-A Bowie.
