Catcher Francisco Pena is making his first start with the Orioles tonight as they attempt to gain a split of their four-game series against the Red Sox.
Hyun Soo Kim remains in left field and the second slot in the order. Mark Trumbo is in right field and Pedro Alvarez gets another start as the designated hitter.
Before last night, the Orioles hadn’t scored 13 runs without hitting a home run since a 13-2 win over Tampa Bay on Sept. 2, 2004 at Tropicana Field.
