The team’s last sweep of any kind was Aug. 27-29, 2018 against the Blue Jays. The last road sweep came on June 5-6, 2018 against the Mets at Citi Field. The last four-game sweep was July 17-20, 2017 against the Rangers at Camden Yards. The last four-game sweep on the road was Aug. 22-25, 2011 in Minnesota.
Chris Davis is out of the lineup again today. Renato Núñez is playing first base and Pedro Severino is the designated hitter.
Anthony Santander is in left field and Stevie Wilkerson is in center. Jace Peterson is playing third base.
Bundy faced the Angels on May 11 at Camden Yards and allowed three runs in five innings. Albert Pujols homered twice and is 5-for-9 with a double and three home runs lifetime against Bundy.
In four career games against the Angels, Bundy has registered a 7.13 ERA and 1.302 WHIP in 17 2/3 innings. He’s allowed 11 earned runs (13 total) and 16 hits in 12 2/3 innings.
Mike Trout is 4-for-9 with a double and two home runs.
The Angels chose Félix Peña for today’s start, his sixth of the season among 21 appearances. He’s 8-3 with a 4.82 ERA and 1.204 WHIP in 89 2/3 innings.
Right-handers are hitting .185/.246/.321 against Peña this season and left-handers are slashing .270/.357/.522.
Peña has one career start against the Orioles and he shut them out over 5 1/3 innings. Trey Mancini is 2-for-2.
The Orioles have won seven of their last 10 games and are 13-11 in their last 24. They’ve won 20 games on the road to pass last year’s total.
