Beckham is 4-for-6 with a home run against Verlander. Chris Davis, shut down through the weekend, is 7-for-35 with 20 strikeouts.

Verlander leads the American League and is second in the majors with 280 strikeouts. He’s allowed four runs and 13 hits with 40 strikeouts in four starts this month over 27 innings.
