Tonight’s game between the Orioles and Yankees at Camden Yards has been postponed due to rain. The teams will play a split doubleheader on Saturday, with Game 1 scheduled for 12:05 p.m. and the nightcap set for 7:05 p.m.

This is the fourth weather-related postponement for the Orioles and their third at home.

The Yankees are starting Ivan Nova and Luis Severino in the doubleheader. The Orioles are expected to start Wei-Yin Chen and Ubaldo Jimenez, but it isn’t official. Manager Buck Showalter was waiting to meet with pitching coach Dave Wallace.

orioles oriole park at camden yards tarp.jpgMajor League Baseball made the decision to postpone tonight’s game and decided not to wait until 6 p.m. to render a final verdict.

Separate admission is required for each game. Tickets for today’s game marked Oct. 2 will be honored for the 12:05 p.m. makeup game.

Gates for the 12:05 p.m. game will open at 10:30 a.m., while parking lots will open at 10 a.m. Gate times for the 7:05 p.m. game will be announced at the conclusion of the first game.

Both games will air live on MASN.

Tonight’s fireworks show has been canceled and cannot be rescheduled. The first 20,000 fans 15 and over attending Saturday’s 7:05 p.m. game will receive an Orioles Knit Bomber Hat, as originally scheduled.

Fans unable to attend the makeup game may exchange their tickets for any remaining home game this season on a “dollar-for-dollar” basis. StubHub tickets are also non-exchangeable, but may be resold on StubHub until 12 p.m. on Saturday. Prepaid parking permits dated for Oct. 2 are valid only for the 12:05 p.m. makeup game.

Fans may also choose to hold their tickets until 2016 tickets go on sale, at which point they may be exchanged for tickets to any April 2016 home game except opening day. All exchanges are subject to availability and must be completed by April 30, 2016.
