The press box is pretty far from the field, but I’m almost positive that the game has started.
I’m so high up, the guy next to me said he’s flying the mail to Pittsburgh.
I’m so high up, I’m the only person here who isn’t wearing wings.
But seriously folks…
The Orioles need Brad Bergesen to stick around for a while because the bullpen’s a bit drained. He’s thrown 36 pitches in two innings. He could use a quick one.

The Orioles need Brad Bergesen to stick around for a while because the bullpen’s a bit drained. He’s thrown 36 pitches in two innings. He could use a quick one.
The Orioles lead, 2-0, on Ty Wigginton’s two-out, two-run single in the first inning. Nick Markakis and Miguel Tejada singled with out one, and Markakis took third on center fielder Nyjer Morgan’s error. Tejada moved to second on a wild pitch from Nationals starter Craig Stammen.
The Nats have three hits off Bergesen, and they’ve also milked him for one walk.
And speaking of milking…
Here’s the answer that Ohman provided to his quiz about the three defining characteristics of mammals.
1. Hair
2. Millk
3. Special earbones
I took his word for it.
Update: Josh Willingham hit a long two-run homer off Bergesen in the third to tie the game, 2-2. Bergesen’s pitch count is up to 61 and rain is headed this way. That’s not good news for the Orioles’ bullpen.
