Chris Tillman has registered a quality start in his last five interleague outings since July 7, 2014, going 2-0 with a 3.41 ERA in 31 2/3 innings. He’s on the mound tonight against the Braves.
Reliever Brad Brach has allowed two earned runs over his last 16 appearances covering 20 innings.
The Orioles continue to have the fewest errors in the majors with 39. The Dodgers are next with 42. The Tigers (50) are the closest American League team to the Orioles.
On this date in 2014, Machado’s home run in the 12th inning produced a 7-6 walk-off win over the Angels. It was Machado’s first career walk-off home run.

Manager Buck Showalter needs four more wins to tie Ned Hanlon (1,313) for 31st place on the all-time list.
Here are the starters for the four-game series against the Tigers at Camden Yards:
Thursday: Miguel Gonzalez (9-6, 3.99 ERA) vs. Alfredo Simon (9-6, 4.46 ERA)
Friday: Wei-Yin Chen (5-6, 2.88 ERA) vs. Buck Farmer (0-2, 9.22 ERA)
Saturday: Kevin Gausman (1-2, 4.20 ERA) vs. Anibal Sanchez (10-8, 4.61 ERA)
Sunday: Ubaldo Jimenez (8-6, 3.73 ERA) vs. David Price (9-4, 2.53 ERA)
That’s three right-handers and Price, if you’re already crafting your lineups. Just leave room for any possible non-waiver deadline additions.
Former Orioles left-hander Wesley Wright signed a minor league deal with the Angels, according to MLBDailyDish.
