Rapada has appeared in two games with Triple-A Norfolk, allowing one hit, walking one and striking out three in two scoreless innings. He looked like an early favorite to make the Orioles out of spring training, but faltered down the stretch and allowed six runs and six hits in 10 1/3 innings over 11 appearances.
Left-handers were 1-for-19 against him last season after the Rangers called him up in September.
