The Boston Red Sox defeated the Orioles 10-0 on the strength of six home runs and a strong start by Clay Buchholz. Buchholz only allowed three hits to the Orioles batters and walked one.

David Hernandez had a short outing, giving up six runs in 2 2/3 innings.
