LAKELAND, Fla. – The Orioles were being shut out on one hit going into the top of the sixth inning, but not any more.
Randy Winn singled and Brendan Harris walked to open the inning. Charlie Furbush retired the next two batters, but Nolan Reimold launched the first pitch he saw over the left field fence to give the Orioles a 3-1 lead.
Reimold got all of that one.
Reimold also homered in the exhibition opener against the Pirates in Bradenton.
