We're a little over a week away from Thanksgiving, so here are a couple of reminders that baseball is still in your life:
* The GM meetings just wrapped up this past week in Scottsdale, Ariz.
* The Winter Meetings are three weeks away in National Harbor, Md.
* Nationals Winterfest is about a month away at the Washington Convention Center
So there is still plenty of baseball to consume this offseason.
And of course, MASN's "Nationals Classics" series continues this week to give you your baseball fix while you wait in between those events. Check out this week's schedule:
Monday, Nov. 14, 9 a.m. - In a Sunday afternoon game on Aug. 17, 2014, against the Pirates in which both closers blew save opportunities, the Nationals called upon Jayson Werth off the bench to come up clutch. Werth came on to pinch-hit in the ninth and drew a walk. He eventually scored the tying run and then the game-winning run in the 11th.
Thursday, Nov. 17, 9 a.m.
Sunday, Nov. 20, 4:30 p.m. - Do you know what was weird about the 2016 season? No Nationals pitcher threw a no-hitter after consecutive years with no-nos in 2014-15. One of those was almost a perfect game on June 20, 2015, as Max Scherzer was one strike away from perfection against the Pirates. He settled for not only his first no-hitter of his career, but the first of that season! Make sure you tune in to relive this historic day at Nats Park.
