Mark Reynolds hit another homer tonight, a two-run shot in the 5th to give the Orioles a three-run lead that is now 3-1.

It could be said Reynolds has been producing homers at a pace expected of him since May began. He hit just two homers in April but has now hit eight over the last 34 games since the calender flipped to May. That is a 38-homer pace and that is exactly what Reynolds has averaged, 38 homers, the last two seasons.
Reynolds has hit six of his ten homers at home and tonight was just his second off a left-hander on the year.
As the weather heats up, so is Reynolds’ power and it seems he now is delivering the long-ball potential that was expected of him all along.
