Brian Roberts will play at Bowie tonight for the first time since he played two games there on an injury-rehab assignment in 2006.
I will be there to cover his play and get some pre and post-game quotes.
Roberts was officially added to the Bowie roster today and is expected to play the whole game tonight. He is also expected to meet with reporters before and after the game, so there should be no shortage of B-Rob info coming your way later.

Roberts played five games in the Gulf Coast League and was 8 for 15 with a run and a double. He played three games at second base and two at DH. He went 7-for-9 over his first three games and 1-for-6 over the last two.
He hasn’t played for the Orioles since April 9 and went 2-for-14 at the start of the year in four Major League games.
The Baysox, who are 50-45, begin a seven-game homestand tonight and Roberts could play several games there this week. Despite losing their last two games of their series in Richmond, scoring just four runs total, the Baysox are 6-3 over their past nine games and in second place in their division.
Check back here often throughout the day and evening for the latest on Roberts in Bowie.
Meanwhile, Brandon Snyder, who has not played for Norfolk since June 17, is expected to join Aberdeen tomorrow on an injury-rehab assignment and play three games for the IronBirds. Snyder has been dealing with an upper back injury.
Bowie first baseman Joe Mahoney should be fine after a collision in the game yesterday with Baysox pitcher Ryohei Tanaka as they were both fielding a ball in the fifth inning at Richmond. Mahoney had to leave the game with a cut lip and knee contusion but Tanaka stayed in.
Mahoney should be available to play for the Baysox tonight. He is batting .333-1-6 in eight Baysox games since moving up from Frederick.
Delmarva infielder Mike Mooney is expected to be placed on the disabled list after suffering a thumb injury in Sunday’s game. Mooney is batting .196-0-6 in 25 Shorebirds games.
