Luke Scott is playing first base tonight, weather permitting, but it’s more interesting that second baseman Brian Roberts is on the bench.
Roberts wasn’t in last night’s lineup, but we blamed it on poor numbers against Red Sox knuckleballer Tim Wakefield. Roberts is 6-for-24 with seven walks lifetime against Yankees starter Bartolo Colon.
Must be a health issue. We’ll find out after the clubhouse opens to the media in about 20 minutes.
