The Orioles are sending Tyler Wilson and Kevin Gausman to the mound for the last two games of the series. The Yankees, as expected, are starting CC Sabathia and Masahiro Tanaka.
Minor league pitcher Hunter Harvey underwent sports hernia surgery today in Philadelphia. Dr. William Meyers handled the procedure.
The surgery usually sidelines a player for four to six weeks, but the Orioles would settle for having Harvey pitching for an affiliate by July 1.
Online betting site Bovada has made Machado a 15/4 favorite to win the American League’s Most Valuable Player Award. Trumbo is 10/1 and Chris Davis is 18/1.
The Orioles are 28/1 to win the World Series.
