Jonathan Schoop passed all the pregame tests on his right hand and he’s in tonight’s lineup against the Nationals.
Joey Rickard is leading off again tonight against Nationals left-hander Gio Gonzalez, and Mark Trumbo is in right field. Trey Mancini is the designated hitter.
Schoop is 1-for-8 with four strikeouts lifetime against Gonzalez. Chris Davis is 2-for-15 and Trumbo is 3-for-16 with eight strikeouts.
Manny Machado is 4-for-10.
