LA Angels (70-45) at Orioles (48-69)
After giving up nine runs in the 13th inning to lose on Sunday afternoon, the Orioles host the LA Angels tonight at 7:05 p.m. needing a win to even the four-game series at two wins each.
RHP David Hernandez (4-4, 3.81) will make the start for the Orioles and RHP Ervin Santana (5-6, 6.38) takes the mound for Los Angeles.
After the Orioles 16-6 romp over the Angels on Friday, LA has come back to win the last two games of the series.

The Angels beat the O’s 17-8 in 13 innings Sunday. LA’s 9 runs in the 13th inning was the most by a team in an extra inning since San Diego scored nine in the 10th frame at Philadelphia on May 28, 1995.
The Angels had 23 hits and went 12 for 24 with runners in scoring position.
In allowing 17 earned runs, the O’s team ERA jumped from 5.01 to 5.10.
Over the last seven games, the Orioles’ team ERA is 6.68 and O’s pitching has allowed 97 hits in the seven contests.
Chone Figgins had four hits and 3 RBI in the Angels win and is 8 for 14 with 4 RBI in this series.

Orioles: 25 runs, 42 hits, .326 average, 25 extra-base hits
Angels: 28 runs, 47 hits, .356 average, 15 extra-base hits
The Angels are 7-2 on the season vs. the Orioles and have won four of the five games at Camden Yards. LA is 10-4 in its last 14 games at Oriole Park.
Since their record was 29-29 on June 11th, the Angels are 41-16. Los Angeles is 21-8 since the All-Star break and is 19-6 in its last 25 road games.
While they are one of the best hitting teams in the Majors this year, LA remains the only AL club without a Grand Slam this year.
The O’s have lost six of eight, 12 of 16 and 19 of their last 26 games. They are 2-4 on this homestand and 30-30 at home on the year.
