Alfredo Simon strained his left hamstring while reaching for Luke Scott’s throw to first base.
The injury occurred to the upper part of his leg. It’s not known how long he’ll be sidelined.
For those of you keeping score at home, the Orioles have lost two closers (Mike Gonzalez and Alfredo Simon), one set-up man (Jim Johnson) and one seventh-inning reliever (Koji Uehara).
