Adrian Beltre led off with a walk and Nelson Cruz doubled with one out. Mike Napoli flied to shallow right, but Snyder singled on a 2-2 pitch.

Matusz got a called strike with a slider to even the count, and he came back with the same pitch. This time, Snyder got a hold of it.

Dylan Bundy is making his sixth start tonight for Single-A Delmarva. He’s scheduled to go four innings again.

Bundy struck out the first two Charleston batters before giving up a double to Gary Sanchez, only the second hit he allowed in 17 2/3 innings. He struck out the side in the second, raising his total to 30 in 19 innings.

Outfielder Jai Miller hit a home run estimated at 440 feet to give Triple-A Norfolk a 4-0 lead at Louisville.

Update: Bundy only went three innings because he reached his pitch count. Bundy threw 61 pitches and allowed an unearned run – the first batter to cross the plate against him in six professional starts.

A strikeout/wild pitch extended the third inning, and the Shorebirds committed three errors before Bundy got back to the dugout. He allowed one hit, walked none and struck out eight.

In six starts, Bundy has allowed one unearned run and two hits, walked two and struck out 33 in 20 innings.

Back at Camden Yards, Matusz has allowed three runs and six hits in four innings, with two walks and three strikeouts. He’s thrown 78 pitches, 47 for strikes, and Jason Berken was warming in the bullpen.

The Orioles have two hits, both by J.J. Hardy, giving him seven in the last two games.
