Former Orioles pitching prospect Eduardo Rodriguez will start for the Red Sox in Tuesday’s series opener at Camden Yards. Rodriguez, traded in July for left-hander Andrew Miller, has allowed one run and struck out 14 in 14 2/3 innings.
Not that anyone is keeping track.
Here are the matchups:
Tuesday: Miguel Gonzalez (5-4, 3.54 ERA) vs. Eduardo Rodriguez (2-0, 0.61 ERA)
Wednesday: Wei-Yin Chen (1-4, 3.18 ERA) vs. Rick Porcello (4-5, 5.01 ERA)
Thursday: Chris Tillman (3-7, 5.61 ERA) vs. Wade Miley (5-5, 4.67 ERA)
Update: Add another home run to Jones’ ledger. His solo shot in the first inning gave the Orioles a 1-0 lead.
Jones has three homers in his last four games.
